Bamako “Boot Camp”
 Date: January 17–23, 2011
 Location: Bamako, Mali

In January 2011 TrustAfrica sponsored a “boot camp” in Bamako, Mali, to build the knowledge and skills of activists from civil organizations, grassroots movements and political parties in seven francophone countries. The goal was to help participants develop their capacity to mount effective advocacy campaigns. TrustAfrica organized the gathering in connection with its MDG3 Project, which seeks to curb gender violence and expand women's political participation.
